Birdhouse197 is a bespoke wedding stationery business based in Bradford, in England;s West Yorkshire region. Our collections feature stationery inspired by tarot cards and astrology, ideal of a couple looking to add a touch of gothic elegance to their celebration.
We offer a range of Save The Dates, Invitation suites &a whole host of wedding stationery. We’re happy to customise design requests and work closely with our customers to make each set bespoke to our customer’s requirements.
Our story so far…
George
I am a secondary school Art and Design teacher, with a background in illustration and Graphic Design. I dabble in Fine Art, Photography and Graphic design to pupils ages 11-18.
This little adventure began 5 years ago when I was asked by one of my best friends to create the table plan for her wedding. As my work was well received, I popped a couple of designs on Etsy to test the waters (not thinking much of it) and that has led to where I am now !
I am passionate about creating unique designs for unique weddings whilst simultaniously providing excellent customer service and smooth transactions to you.
Joshua
I am George’s partner in wedding stationery as well as in life! My role is to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Keep George organised and channelling those creative impulses effectively, ensuring you are happy along the way.
I’ve been on this journey with George since the beginning and became more involved in assisting with processing, quality checking and completing orders a few years ago (when things started to take off!).
I love that we can be a small part of so many people’s special day and aim to make ordering your bespoke stationery the easiest part of organising it.

Once you have seen the design or style you would like on our website, you can order the quantity you would like. Our website lets you select the background colour & add your personalisation options when ordering.
I will then soend a few days creating a digital draft of your order & send it over via email for approval.
Once the design is approved and any alterations have been made, I will then proceed to printing and posting.
Your package will be send Express Tracked & a tracking number will be provided.

Yes! All of the text is customisable, and the background can be any colour gradient. I can accommodate most customisation requests, but feel free to drop us a message to check. You will be able to see a digital proof before it’s printed to ensure it’s exactly as you want.

Yes! We often send invitations outside of the UK and we use FedEx Express Tracked which I’ve found to be very fast & reliable. Tracking details are provided once the package has been sent.
If you’re concerned about a package, pop us a message and we’re happy to ship them via your preferred courier.
It’s usually around 3-4 weeks, sometimes quicker, sometimes slower if there’s custom delays.

The price will vary a lot depending on the quantity & type of cards you order. Foiling does cost more & takes longer to print, but gives a real wow factor!
A small quantity of personalised Tarot style Save the Dates would be around £70.
Large quantities of foil can be several hundred pounds.

Yes, I’m happy to send out a generic sample which isn’t personalised. This will allow you to see the texture and quality before you order.Samples are sent via slow mail & if you place a full order it would arrive much faster.
When you place a full order I always send a digital draft version for approval before printing and posting. This will allow you to see the design and request any alterations to ensure it is perfect on arrival.
