Today’s feature not only stuns you with gorgeous vibrant styling and imagery, but it carries a message just as loud… Still Bisexual!
Dealing with the phenomenon of bi-erasure… being perceived as no longer bisexual when you get married, is a common assumption made by wider society based solely on outward appearances.
The shoot itself is breath-taking, loud and unapologetic. The team created the perfect antidote to soft pink cuteness; skulls, spikes and leopard print infused, but still girly! and we are here for it!
The next Gothic Luxe Wedding Fair is now just over 2 months away!… you heard right… 11 weeks until we invade York and bring with us the most amazing dark wedding suppliers from all over the UK.
The story behind this luxury gothic shoot was to inspire couples to defy tradition by incorporating a stronger theme within their wedding. We also wanted to showcase that you don’t necessarily need to ‘look alternative’ to have a non-traditional wedding.
Deep in the eerie yet enchanting halls of Heskin Hall, where whispers of ghosts from centuries past linger, Callum and Becky's love story unfolded in a unique and hauntingly beautiful way. In a mesmerizing fusion of elegance and darkness, this styled wedding shoot was inspired by the Hotel series of American Horror Story and unfolded at the enchanting Cosy Club in Nottingham. Embracing the art deco ambiance of the venue, the creative team behind the shoot crafted an immersive experience that blurred the lines between sophistication and the macabre.
In the quiet embrace of the fading sunlight, amidst the ancient ruins of Chateau Bas, a tale of dark elegance unfolded. Provence photographer Luxea Photographie weaved magic through their lens, capturing moments of beauty and intimacy in a setting steeped in history and mystery.

Goth culture is deeply rooted in alternative thinking and the defiance of tradition, epitomizing the rejection of societal norms and the embrace of individuality. By challenging tradition, goth culture advocates for the liberation of self-expression and authenticity, transcending the constraints of conformity in favour of a fairer, more real, existence.
So imagine then, hundreds of years ago when women had very few rights and convention dictated that only men could propose, how incredibly punk it was for a woman to break custom to bend the knee!
As we reflect on the incredible turnout and the overwhelming positive feedback from both suppliers and visitors, we are filled with a sense of pride and gratitude. The Gothic Luxe wedding fair was not just a showcase of products; it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the beauty of ALL love stories.

For many, black is not a wedding colour. Of course they are wrong. For me it’s the natural choice for well, everything… and I know I’m not alone!
We knew we wanted to show that black and all things dark and typically considered spooky, are actually incredibly beautiful, meaningful and really bloody glamourous. Here it’s not just a key colour, but the ONLY colour. Where spiders, webs and bones are non longer simply Halloween motifs, but wonderfully symbolic emblems of love and commitment and also insanely elegant.
In the mystical realms of wedding inspiration, there is a lair of darkness and enchantment that beckons to those with a taste for the unconventional. Immerse yourself in the ethereal beauty of woodland landscapes and dark gothic aesthetics. This shoot showcases a mesmerising array of lavish details brought together by the TilDeath team…
And here we are to show that ‘dark weddings’ are more than a fashion trend and they’re here to stay.
The idea of TilDeath has been bubbling in the background for years, but it has taken all those years to get to this point. TilDeath is a collaboration of Legend Bridal, Vicky Dubois Photography and Maddison Rocks Floral. It is very much a collaboration, BUT I’m going to chat about the whole creation and ethos from my, Charlotte (Legend Bridal’s) point of view…
What started out as a group of TilDeath suppliers taking advantage of being in the same place at the same time, turned into an incredibly meaningful and teary day.
It’s no surprise that several of the TilDeath tribe would be in Whitby for Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival; either vending or simply enjoying the weekend. So we decided to try and take advantage of the opportunity…
When it comes to choosing your wedding theme, a good choice is something that you both love or onnects you asa couple. And what better choice for those who love their music and gigs, than a heavy metal rock vibe?
